Inconel751 alloy is an improved version of the Inconel AlloyX-750 alloy, which increases the aluminum content, enhances the endurance strength, and increases the working temperature to around 870 ℃. The heat treatment process reduces the heat treatment time from 18 hours to 9 hours. This alloy is a nickel based alloy reinforced with Al, Ti, and Nb, which has good corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and high thermal hardness. It is mainly used in aviation and industrial gas turbine components. Due to its high high-temperature strength, excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, this alloy has been used abroad to manufacture valves and other components for heavy-duty internal combustion engines.

Physical properties and characteristics of Inconel 751

Density: The density of Inconel 751 is approximately 8.28 grams per cubic centimeter.

Melting point: The melting point of Inconel 751 is approximately 1320-1370 degrees Celsius.

Tensile strength: The tensile strength of Inconel 751 ranges from 910 to 1100 MPa.

Elongation: The elongation of Inconel 751 is 20%.

High temperature performance:

Inconel 751 alloy has excellent high-temperature performance and can maintain good strength and toughness in high-temperature environments. It can withstand extreme conditions such as high-temperature oxidation, thermal fatigue, and thermal shock, and is therefore widely used in the fields of aerospace, petrochemical, and power generation.

Corrosion resistance

Inconel 751 alloy has good corrosion resistance and can resist oxidation, corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent resistance to corrosive media such as sulfides, chlorides, and oxides, and is therefore widely used in fields such as chemical, marine, and energy.

Application field of inconel 751 alloy forgings

Aerospace industry: Inconel751 alloy is widely used in high-temperature engine components, turbine discs, combustion chambers, and nozzles in the aerospace industry to provide excellent high-temperature performance and corrosion resistance.

Petrochemical: Inconel751 alloy is used to manufacture high-temperature and high-pressure equipment in petrochemical industry, such as catalyst tubes, reactors, heat exchangers, etc. Its corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance enable it to adapt to harsh environments in petrochemical processes.

Power generation industry: Inconel 751 alloy is commonly used in the manufacturing of high-temperature equipment such as burners, gas turbines, and steam turbines in the power generation industry. Its high-temperature performance and corrosion resistance enable it to maintain good performance in high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive environments.
