Chemical composition

Hastelloy C276 is a high-performance corrosion-resistant alloy material produced by Haynes International as a nickel based alloy. It is composed of approximately 65% nickel (Ni), 15-17% molybdenum (Mo), 14.5-16.5% chromium (Cr), 3-4% iron (Fe), 2.5% cobalt (Co), 1% manganese (Mn), and a small amount of elements such as carbon (C), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), and sulfur (S).

Product Features and Applications

The main characteristic of Hastelloy C276 is its extremely high corrosion resistance. It can resist a variety of organic and Mineral acid, oxides, reducing agents and other chemicals, especially in acidic environments. In addition, Hastelloy C276 also has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, exhibiting excellent performance in high-temperature, high-pressure, and highly corrosive environments.
